Just take a metalplate and screw it to the shell by using the originalholes.You have
to use 2 nuts for example to rise the plate a bit from the shell.Then you can screw the
strainer on the plate. By using this methode you can mount every strainer on every shell
without drilling new holes.When you find the original strainer ist easy to rebuild the
snare. My example is a #787 strainer on a SONOR phonic shell.
