This is how we do it
maybe others have better ideas but it works. First put papertape inside and outside the shell |

Then carefully cut the outside edge |
|
and the inside in small steps,not in one
full cut!!!!! |

The result after cutting both sides |
|
use sandpaper to make it smooth |
|
and car polish ..... |
|
(remove papertape)makes the edge... |
|
...smooth |
